I always thought that my DS's assessment was not comprehensive enough. Insufficient understanding of autism, SpLD & sensory difficulties.
@MumForAutism I agree. We expected some scientific process for the test, but it was just a parental questionnaire & it *still* got it wrong.

@C7RKY - from what I can recall, it was very much based on observable behaviour but in my exp sensory difficulties can render someone..Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@C7RKY .. quiet as well. My son, often when he is overwhelmed, gets completed and utterly exhausted. Hardly able to function. -
@MumForAutism Exactly. We find every day is different too. Brief assessments can't possibly capture the ever-changng array of sensory issues
