@infamousgrouser Obv don't know your own circumstances, but I'm concerned by the attitude of elderly/sick being a 'burden' here tbh.

@C7RKY need the choice, my mother 81 kept going against her wishes wide awake for a year, tube fed unable to move etc - really ridiculous -
@infamousgrouser Choice is definitely key. I worry for my part about the way consent is abused in all forms. Yours would be another example. -
@C7RKY you're right! were told she gave consent to something plainly mislead over (lucky to look after her at home but after big fight) -
@infamousgrouser If merely claiming to have consent isn't enough, they fraudulently create what they need on a consent form ime. It stinks! -
@infamousgrouser But well done you for winning that big fight by the sounds of things - never an easy fight to win. They hold all the cards. -
@C7RKY owe it all to my sister who is wonderful (zoologist but seemed to know more than rest put together - apart from 1 great young locum) -
@infamousgrouser Amazing what simply having a little nouse & a genuine interest in the patient's welfare can achieve, eh? Shouldn't have to. -
@C7RKY PS but not just yet Lol! - 1 more reply
