I've been talking this morning to a BBC health reporter who really is taking the NHS carve-up seriously. Problem is it's a regional story.
@PeterThurlow The entire world doesn't need to be Peter, just the majority of those in charge. Discerning the difference becomes critical.

@C7RKY We old lefties are more prone to conspiracy theories than most. But you end up constructing a reality around preferred fantasies. -
@PeterThurlow I'm not a lefty or a righty. I just expect common decency to reign & follow facts. I'm commonly disappointed in what I find... -
@C7RKY The leftie was me. I share your disappointment but to put things right we need to be forensic. Aiming at everyone is aiming at no-one -
@PeterThurlow I tried forensic. Followed the rules. It didn't get me anywhere. I don't blame *everyone*, but it makes one look at bigger pic -
@C7RKY You misunderstand me, John. Don't ever follow the rules - you should never do that. -
@PeterThurlow Haha! See...now you've gone and made me warm to you again Peter. Even when you do imply I might be a conspiracy theorist! :) -
@C7RKY Oh we have you bang to rights there, John. Though that's preferable to swallowing whole the arguments for the status quo. -
@PeterThurlow I confess I've crossed from accepting to doubting as a default. But I avoid theories like the plague. Conspiracies, less so...
