I've been talking this morning to a BBC health reporter who really is taking the NHS carve-up seriously. Problem is it's a regional story.
@PeterThurlow Bad news stories always are aren't they? Many believe that's the policy, unless someone won't stop shouting, like at MidStaffs

@C7RKY No need for conspiracy theories though. BBC reports regionally and together they make up whole country, yet national BBC don't notice -
@PeterThurlow What's with the conspiracy theory line? All too easy to throw out nowadays Peter. National BBC have selective deafness imho. -
@C7RKY Entire world can't be bent, John. Seeing everyone as the enemy only assists those who really are. We need to be more astute than that -
@PeterThurlow The entire world doesn't need to be Peter, just the majority of those in charge. Discerning the difference becomes critical. -
@C7RKY We old lefties are more prone to conspiracy theories than most. But you end up constructing a reality around preferred fantasies. -
@PeterThurlow I'm not a lefty or a righty. I just expect common decency to reign & follow facts. I'm commonly disappointed in what I find... -
@C7RKY The leftie was me. I share your disappointment but to put things right we need to be forensic. Aiming at everyone is aiming at no-one -
@PeterThurlow I tried forensic. Followed the rules. It didn't get me anywhere. I don't blame *everyone*, but it makes one look at bigger pic - 4 more replies
