So what does Twitter think. Would a league table of never events trust by trust be a good thing or a bad thing and why?
@ShaunLintern Did you know CQC sees 'high reporting' of never events by trusts as a positive indicator of transparency? Not negative at all.

@C7RKY You might be confusing serious incident reporting with never events of which there should be none. CQC reacts with inspections to NEs -
@ShaunLintern I'm doing no such thing. I am absolutely clear about what I said and it relates to never events Sean. From the CQC last week. -
@C7RKY Reporting is a good thing but not sure CQC would say a high number of NEs is a positive. They usually investigate a run of events. -
@ShaunLintern I'll find you the exact quote if you like? That's precisely what they are saying about reporting. Even when challenged on it. -
@C7RKY Yeah I'd be interested in that.

@C7RKY@ShaunLintern Not sure transparency on this can be considered positive but I suppose spin is Trusts are actually reporting them. -
@JoinedU1@ShaunLintern And yet that's exactly how the CQC view it - positively. When I challenged this, they 'begged to differ' with me.
