@reviddiver @m_cetera I'm not convinced Sun Tzu would've been thrilled to think his words would be used to justify war crimes of the future.

@C7RKY Sun Tzu wrote several times, don't go into war unless your'e prepared to do what it takes to win, to win big & fast with minimum loss -
@reviddiver Hmmm...we both know what he means, but I'd hope we could manage to drag modern rules of war to inc *some* standards of decency. -
@C7RKY There is nothing decent about war. Its obscene. Its silly for us to pretend otherwise. -
@reviddiver But on that basis, surely there would never be any such thing as a war crime? Seems only the losers get held accountable mostly. -
@C7RKY You got it John. War is only about winning. nothing else matters. Winners never get tried & get to write up the history of it as well -
@reviddiver I agree. Scary, eh? But if you see that too, why would you object so much to Manning shining a light onto the matter? -
@C7RKY Go back to my original tweet. Manning is a traitor. Winners can't afford traitors in their midst. -
@reviddiver I guess that's where we differ. I struggle to take pride in being a part of a team without morals, even if it's a winning one. - 2 more replies
