Oh I can't listen to #bbc radio 4 any more. Depressing to think the majority of people are actually going to believe this pro-fracking s**t!
@mulberrybush I think we must reclaim the field of science & return it to its pure form, before we can have any real debate on anything tbh.

@C7RKY@mulberrybush Well said! Ignoring data already collated is wrong....& if as often argued the data is fundamentally flawed then what ? -
@JoinedU1@mulberrybush Then we're fighting blind, with 1 hand behind our backs - just how those wishing to pursue their own agenda want it. -
-
@mulberrybush@JoinedU1 Let's see what they bring. The crap in/crap out principle still applies. I trust v little I can't see for myself now -
-
@mulberrybush@JoinedU1 Data never gives us the answers. In any form. It merely informs the questions that need asking, when we look deeper.

@C7RKY OK - so we are straight back to the need for evidence based policy. This currently so bad maybe there will be an appetite for this -
@mulberrybush It's not just that. Even evidence based policy can be manipulated if you control the flow of 'evidence'. Hence reclaim science -
@C7RKY@mulberrybush A "fair test" is still a "fair test" and being selective just wont work! We need a whole approach and lots of reality!
