Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

@celticchickadee I agree, although I think less patchy than prior to #LCP - but clearly issues of patchy implementation of the LCP

@DocMartin68 @celticchickadee Problem is, any protocol which will kill the recipient, should not be allowed to be 'patchy' in implementation

@C7RKY @DocMartin68 @celticchickadee The ultimate misconception :( #LCP does not 'kill' a pt. It helps an already dying pt's symptom control

@LobeckDR @DocMartin68 @celticchickadee I am under no misconception. Withholding food, water & medicine will kill anyone. Not all are dying.

@LobeckDR @DocMartin68 @celticchickadee Qn for me is, who decides? I don't want a ward doc, under pressure to clear beds, deciding w/o me.

@C7RKY If U can communicate yr wishes, U will decide if #LCP is right for you, following discussion with yr family / friends & clinical team

@LobeckDR But that's often not what happens, is it? 60,000 pts died on LCP w/o them or family being told of its use, from what I've read...

@C7RKY and that is what needs to be urgently & carefully investigated. I'm distressed about that too & await the full report. I use #LCP ++

@LobeckDR It's clear that the application of LCP varies hugely. The 'misuse' aspect certainly seems large enough to take seriously though.
