Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

@C7RKY Yes 'never' mistakes - news featured them heavily a month or so back. Useful info last night, BTW.

@paulrogers002 'Never tell events' more appropriate for us. How many unreported? £penalty for trust if reported too! Glad info was useful :)

@C7RKY Yep - when even oversight body involved in cover-ups, it certainly makes you suspicious of private health trusts.

@paulrogers002 Medical complaints system & laws surrounding it have been purpose built for self-protection imho. It's been enlightening :-/

@C7RKY I think that's true - medical complaints are a maze of mutual, confusing referrals that typically lead nowhere.

@paulrogers002 I believe somebody actually said the purpose of the system is to wear complainants down till they give up. Often works too...

@C7RKY Medical complaints procedure certainly defers decision for years - implying ruinous legal expense.

@paulrogers002 And they start with that end in mind. That's why a pre-agreed defence is chosen with lawyers - to block. Regardless of blame.

@C7RKY Whole complaints procedure needs root and branch review and reform to side with patient/complainant, not officials.

@paulrogers002 Be happy for it not to side with anybody. Just be honest, factual & diligent. That's all I ask of a medical complaints system

@C7RKY Yes, fair comment. Govt happy to streamline other systems when it suits; e.g 'fast-tracking' deportations.
