@C7RKY Yep - when even oversight body involved in cover-ups, it certainly makes you suspicious of private health trusts. -
@paulrogers002 Medical complaints system & laws surrounding it have been purpose built for self-protection imho. It's been enlightening :-/ -
@C7RKY I think that's true - medical complaints are a maze of mutual, confusing referrals that typically lead nowhere. -
@paulrogers002 I believe somebody actually said the purpose of the system is to wear complainants down till they give up. Often works too... -
@C7RKY Medical complaints procedure certainly defers decision for years - implying ruinous legal expense. -
@paulrogers002 And they start with that end in mind. That's why a pre-agreed defence is chosen with lawyers - to block. Regardless of blame. -
@C7RKY Whole complaints procedure needs root and branch review and reform to side with patient/complainant, not officials. -
