Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

You're kidding? CQC commits arguably criminal acts of cover up & responds by recruiting parliamentary lobbyist? Why?> http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/care-quality-commission-advertises-lobbyist-2001537?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter …

@C7RKY A lot of people will say that. but when I have watched committee sessions clear that is a real communication barrier.

@mulberrybush I'm not sure I understand? What communication barrier do you mean Diana? And how does a parliamentary lobbyist help here?

@C7RKY I think that the nature of the questions some MPs ask indicates they do not always understand the nature of the organisation.

@mulberrybush That's a fair point about some MPs. Although I've seen plenty of game playing on the other side of the table when it suits.

@C7RKY Yes. I always wonder if having the cameras is always a good thing! certainly people on all sides do play to them.

@mulberrybush The game playing I refer to takes many forms. From regularly avoiding questions by feigning ignorance to blatant grandstanding

@mulberrybush But in all cases, I'm glad the cameras are there - it's the only chance we get to have access to the unadulterated facts.

@C7RKY we need access, but the cameras change what we are looking at. - not always for the better.

@C7RKY #CQC managers certainly being treated with kid gloves in interview - their cover-up complicity, bullying style barely even mentioned!

@paulrogers002 I maintain we should have a 'people's committee' who can summon MP's/public servants to answer OUR questions. One with teeth!

@HeslingLaolcom Thank you. Only flaw is how to get the necessary powers allocated to it in parliament. Turkeys & Christmas spring to mind!!

@C7RKY wondering how often people really understand what is required of the organisations they create? Often very unrealistic expectations

@mulberrybush Well I've worked in a regulated environment, where nothing so precious as life was at risk & we had far more controls I'd say.
