@C7RKY The worry for me is that poorly performing surgeons may not be picked up/dealt with through various safeguards or whistleblowing. -

@KayFSheldon As always. The law & legal support frameworks have literally been designed to protect these surgeons. They take full advantage. -

@KayFSheldon Quite. We have a fundamentally flawed system here, which affords more protection than is deserved/reasonable to such groups.

@paraic84 I'm afraid I'm utterly impressed by surgical world's idea of transparency. Other medical disciplines being no better is no comfort
