BBC News - Curing cancer or 'selling hope' to the vulnerable? http://bbc.in/17ORU3F
@EviltheCat @ShaunLintern So you say. Walk a mile in my shoes & you'd understand why I question. No matter how 'ridiculous' you may find it.

@C7RKY@ShaunLintern I'm not doubting your personal experience, but conflating Burzynski with pharma issues is of no use at all -
@EviltheCat@ShaunLintern I don't know much about Burzynski, but I know big pharma's concept of 'science' is no less unconvincing to me. -
@C7RKY@ShaunLintern Difference is that some medicines save lives. Burzynski exploits the most vulnerable, saves no one. -
@EviltheCat@ShaunLintern And some medicines just treat symptoms - v profitably for the providers. A profit threatened by potential 'cures'. -
@C7RKY@ShaunLintern I know, I do keep acknowledging problems with pharma. We all know. It's a well known fact. It's common knowledge etc... -
@EviltheCat@ShaunLintern Many don't know, but nonetheless, that was the only point I was questioning, in relation to any new discoveries. -
@C7RKY@ShaunLintern Your original comment re: "cures being entirely welcome" - read up on Burzynski and see how inappropriate this was -
@EviltheCat@ShaunLintern I said 'potential cures' to properly quote my original comment. But thanks for the unsolicited advice anyway... - 8 more replies
