Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

@curetheNHS Good communication is key. The payment was to reward those trusts implementing LCP as it is seen as good practice. Not so bad.

@ShaunLintern but communication is a huge problem in the NHS. Good practice shud be imbedded in hospital without any financial incentive

@curetheNHS We do need better communication and implementation of the pathway by individuals but as a tool itself I think it is good.

@curetheNHS But that is a different issue. The LCP is not the problem, the abuse is and those staff should answer for that.

@ShaunLintern should be clear guidelines on when it can be used & no financial gain. As for staff answering for the abuse, u avin a laugh?

@curetheNHS I know. But that's what needs to happen and that's a different battle. Scrapping the pathway would be a mistake in my opinion.

@ShaunLintern @curetheNHS We need individual care for the dying not a one-size fits all pathway used not just for dying but vulnerable sick

@SharonKinlin @curetheNHS Implemented properly the LCP should provide that individual care. It is not a one size fits all.

@ShaunLintern @SharonKinlin @curetheNHS Exactly. Which is why financially incentivising it is so dangerous. Encourages deviant behaviour.
