If elected government wants less hospitals then fine. Lets do this openly - & base closures on need, not on contested judgements of quality
@mulberrybush Not too comfortable with 'contested judgement of quality' part, but I agree re closing hospitals. Where's the debate on need?

@C7RKY I stick with contested judgement - as a result of 9 long months listening to descriptions of quality systems at the PI. -Not great! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@C7RKY When it comes to need, I dont know how we even begin now. Has to be regional, and we have just demolished the structure for this. -
@mulberrybush Call me a grey-haired old fart of a sceptic (I'm sure many do), but I suspect these structures get changed around every time > -
@C7RKY You would not be wrong. And it really needs to stop. People think structural change does the job. It never does.

@C7RKY I wish more people could hear the important stuff that Tim Straughan NHSIC has to say. He is a very quiet man - with real grasp -
@mulberrybush I joined this 'forced march' of victims too late to follow the Stafford PI blow by blow live, so Tim's is a new name to me. > -
@C7RKY I think Tim is a name that escaped virtually everyone. No press coverage, but he is very significant. Has key to answers.
