@Josquidgylawton Oh, and just have to add to that list an important omission - it's also 'downright unlawful'! Assault & battery in fact.
@Josquidgylawton Behaviour at work is driven by 2 key things I find. Cash (Holding onto it & getting more) & avoiding trouble with the boss>

@C7RKY I am driven by other things giving good nursing care, using resources efficiently. Dealing with the boss when I have to :-) -
@Josquidgylawton Ideal world, should be the ONLY things which determines what you do. Maybe your boss is good, but all of them? Suspect not. -
@C7RKY exactly and that is what keeps me going!! I tend to be a bit stroppy but my pts always come 1st!! -
@Josquidgylawton I always said I'd take clinical skill over bedside manner any day! ;-) Both would just be a bonus... -
@C7RKY patients deserve both......I like to build a professional relationship with my pts....after all I am seeing them when vulnerable! -
@Josquidgylawton Think we should send film crew to where you work & record training videos - sounds great! My probs are mostly docs & exec. -
@C7RKY where I work is not a standard healthcare setting :-) -
@Josquidgylawton I'm not entirely sure what that means, but I'm guessing not NHS per se then? No wonder it all sounds so good if so! lol - 3 more replies
