@Josquidgylawton I can imagine. I'm still in shock too tbh if it helps. Just didn't see the lies, forgery & criminal stuff coming. Who does?
@Josquidgylawton Oh, I know! Have to tell you, when you take the time to learn how consent REALLY works, that arrogance soon disappears! lol

@C7RKY are we talking about "informed" consent? -
@Josquidgylawton In my case, we're talking about consent itself too - hence 'assault'. But 'informed consent' is what makes doctors nervous. -
@C7RKY in my view there is nothing other than "informed" consent.......drs have to realise pts have a RIGHT to know what is going to be done -
@Josquidgylawton This is like the candour debate. Currently consent is criminal, informed consent is covered by prof codes. Only 1 has teeth -
@C7RKY we have a responsibility to ensure that what the pt has consented to is what the pt has done! -
@Josquidgylawton I realise that. I also know if both pages of consent form are retained, other procedures/risks can be added after signing! -
@C7RKY that is downright unethical and I would say immoral! -
@Josquidgylawton Oh, and just have to add to that list an important omission - it's also 'downright unlawful'! Assault & battery in fact. - 21 more replies
