Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

@KathyPidgeon @C7RKY @Modernleader frontline staff are easy target! Often abused by patients/relatives and then abused by their own mgrs!

@Josquidgylawton @KathyPidgeon @Modernleader You're right in almost all cases Joanna, although some genuinely have much to answer for too.

@C7RKY @KathyPidgeon @Modernleader it all depends on how you deal with it! I was assaulted by a man whilst trying to protect his partner!!

@Josquidgylawton @KathyPidgeon @Modernleader We all have our tales. My mother was assaulted by a surgeon whilst under general anaesthetic...

@C7RKY I don't really think that's comparable! Just saying that nurses get assaulted whilst trying to protect their patients!

@Josquidgylawton I didn't say it was comparable. I just said we all have our tales. And in such circumstances, some front line are to blame.

@C7RKY just as there is no excuse for poor patient care there is no excuse for physical violence against staff!

@Josquidgylawton Wouldn't want you/anyone else to think I EVER condoned such a thing Joanna. Why would you? This was about front line blame.

@C7RKY unfortunately many members of the public think it is acceptable and it doesn't matter how honest and open we as nurses are with them!

@Josquidgylawton I honestly understand that. In my job, I tell board members that they get the org behaviours they DESERVE at the front line

@Josquidgylawton I can imagine. I'm still in shock too tbh if it helps. Just didn't see the lies, forgery & criminal stuff coming. Who does?

@C7RKY background politics was one of the reasons I left NHS in 98 and tbh wish I'd stayed out! I'm not a "yes" person..they don't like it!

@Josquidgylawton I'm a simple man. I believe in health issues, nobody has the right to play ANY politics. Dishonesty is the real abuse here.
