Interesting research reported on Horizon, positive attitude 2 errors leads 2faster corrections than negative one. Post #Francis implications
@maxwele2 Kind of agree. Although I am also of the mind that a few should be reminded of the limits of their power & be held accountable too

@C7RKY absolutely need accountability and poor practitioners need to be dealt with but mustn't use a sledgehammer to crack a nut -
@maxwele2 Don't think I'll ever manage to regard an obligation for medical practitioners to tell the truth, as a sledge hammer. Basic ethics -
@C7RKY of course they must tell truth it's way we treat them when they do that I refer to. Some need punitive measures, most need support -
@maxwele2 Unfortunately, law disagrees about truth & lawyers run the show. Proper WB protection & serious punitive stance for interference.. -
@C7RKY In Denmark the Patient Safety Act 2003 makes a criminal offence 2take disciplinary action against staff who raise pt safety concern -
@maxwele2 Something like that sounds a good start as a tool to put in the bag. Must understand how laws ignored/bypassed currently too tho.
