Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

      @mulberrybush The v 1st time a single doc got a high death rate through wrong coding, a manager should have picked that problem up & issued>

      @C7RKY I think that you would find that in this case there was no coding manager in place & CEO was gone, awaiting replacement.

      @mulberrybush Forget coding manager for a min - even if ALL the codes were wrong, I'd expect somebody senior to be asking why pretty quickly

      @C7RKY @mulberrybush Nobody really knew - or knew it mattered. That's key point & key weakness of the system as set up.

      @skwalker1964 @mulberrybush Having worked in a different kind of regulation, I'm bemused by the 'I didn't know' approach they're taking tbh.

      @C7RKY @skwalker1964 It is probably a mistake to think of it as an exact science. It is more of an art & often involves unknowns.

      @mulberrybush @skwalker1964 I don't buy that at all I'm afraid D. There's a reason you regulate things - for control. This isn't good enough

      @C7RKY @mulberrybush So much of process is matter of judgment. Inherently subjective.

      @skwalker1964 @mulberrybush If a process is regulated for safety reasons, room should not be left for subjectivity, surely? This is unsafe.

      @C7RKY @mulberrybush Question of key causes of death can often be subjective - especially since post-mortem results are excluded from data.

      @skwalker1964 @mulberrybush believe this is all made up? Purely a plot to privatise or close hospital? Or am I missing something? Genuine Q.

          @C7RKY @skwalker1964 am not a conspiracy theorist. Dont think its a plot. Think its a system created in good faith, that needed more testing

          @C7RKY @skwalker1964 Maybe now that is not the right way to go - things have moved on. CQC and NHSiC have better systems. now.

          @C7RKY @skwalker1964 what does puzzle me a little is why it is all over the front pages of the broad sheets or on the BBC. Why is that?
