@mulberrybush @benclover
But you are happy now with very high % deaths coded as palliative care in a general hospital, not hospice?

@C7RKY@heatherawwood I also find it interesting that I have yet to meet a clinician who disagrees with my central analysis of what happened -
@mulberrybush@heatherawwood I've learned the value of clinicians' opinions are proportionally reduced, based on their own vested interest. -
-
@AstromanGeek I've yet to find a part of this 'regulated' system in which I have any faith. Utterly & shamelessly self-protecting so far... -
@C7RKY at Dad's inquest the "coroner" allowed the failed trust to advertise their improvements at the stand. Bloody incredible#complicity -
@AstromanGeek I've experienced & heard of some breathtaking examples of corruption on this journey. I wish I could say I were surprised :(

@C7RKY@heatherawwood at the PI. I found I could listen to the evidence and make the assumption most told truth most of time. It all fitted -
@mulberrybush My view that much of evidence given by CQC execs was at best aspirational & usually inacc. Nicholson, SHA & DoH self serving. -
@heatherawwood@mulberrybush You tell it how it is Heather. You were there. You witnessed much of what went on didn't you? -
@drkimholt@heatherawwood I think in fairness Heather would have been in an unusual position. Not likely to be given much trust by staff. -
@mulberrybush@drkimholt I beg your pardon? Many staff spoke openly because knew we were independent. But Trust mgt unhelpful, gen not open -
@heatherawwood@drkimholt some will have done, because real concerns. Most felt there were elements of report they question - they still do. -
@mulberrybush Presume they also question Francis 1 which endorsed & elaborated on HCC report? Remember staff critical of care in nat survey. -
@heatherawwood sadly true that most people never read any of the reports, they just hear what the press think the reports might have said - 9 more replies

@C7RKY@mulberrybush@heatherawwood It is way beyond defence it is attack the complainant until they go away by fair means or foul -
@PhyllisStein2@mulberrybush@heatherawwood No disagreement from me Phyl - as I said, that's just 1 part of the many layers of their defence

@C7RKY@heatherawwood I found that others with a different understanding of what had happened had to make assumption people lied a lot. -
@mulberrybush@heatherawwood On this one it's often difficult to prove a lie when clinical records are regarded as proof & trust has custody

@C7RKY@heatherawwood have no difficulty in accepting that what you are saying is true, at least in part. There will be cover ups -its human -
@mulberrybush@heatherawwood 1st thing I'd say here, is that covering up when it affects somebody's life/health, is INhuman imho. No excuses
