Mid-Staffs hosp merits full police homicide investgtn-look to be reasonable grounds to suspect manslaughter offences may've been committed.
@Peter_Kirkham Now that interests me, going back to our chat some time ago. What is it about this situation that you think may give grounds?

@C7RKY Plain negligence or even active mistreatment which, I strongly suspect, in at least some of 1200 cases led to death. -
@Peter_Kirkham So negligence or mistreatment? Is there a 'standard of evidence' to match up to, in order to have a criminal case in either? -
@C7RKY Oh yeah, for sure. And it wouldn't be easy to achieve...but more than enough"grounds to suspect"to merit having damn good look at it! -
@Peter_Kirkham God I wish you worked in my local nick. Doesn't sound quite the same when I ask... Thanks Peter -
@C7RKY DM me and I'll give you my e-mail to send me a few more details if you want
