@dr_rita39 No book summary I could see, but customer reviews say it all. Piece by piece, true story of those controlling NHS must be told.
@dr_rita39 Worked my whole career in regulated environments, so reasonably familiar with rule books. This one stinks. Totally self-serving.

@C7RKY :) :) :). Well, they have a lot to hide and a lot to lose. Organisations like that often end up with a culture of dysfunction. -
@dr_rita39 Spot on. Took some time to accept what I was facing. Spent my whole life putting medicine on an ethical pedestal - what a fool! -
@C7RKY In medicine, the good are silent because the dysfunctional rule absolutely. The control is reducing but not at great speed. -
@dr_rita39 I'm not sure the control is reducing a great deal. It's just that the curtain has been pulled back to display them clinging to it -
@C7RKY Much like the Picture of Dorian Gray. I think you are right :). Those who are negligent tend to be pensioned off.

@C7RKY It also becomes a culture where opportunism by lawyers +/- individuals who benefit from the neglect of patients squeeze the system -
@dr_rita39 Nicely put! -
@C7RKY Presumably you have seen the NHSLA figures. Ask yourself how many confidentiality clauses prevent patient safety. -
@dr_rita39 Indeed. And don't even get me started on custody of medical records, or 'weeding & seeding' around pre-determined lawyer's story! -
@C7RKY There was a case once - the hospital had been negligent, the patient disabled. Oddly, the hospital "lost" the notes. Convenient?! -
@dr_rita39 About as convenient as adding procedures to a consent form after signing & producing a forgery at a supervised viewing to hide it -
@C7RKY You will find that medical record altering is common and non accountable. Powell v UK demonstrated this aspect. -
@dr_rita39 I know Will. Followed his case closely to try & learn what they'd throw at me next. It's been a constant battle to avoid cover up - 4 more replies
