I actually think the
@gmcuk put Drs more at risk. In Ben’s case, had they taken some action it would have all ended. They just push you further to take your own action. Any consequences will be on their own hands. -

If doctors want to understand why more and more of us are choosing to head for the courts, then stories like yours should explain why very well. Because it's the only way we can get anyone to acknowledge the truth. Even when it's a blindingly obvious, evidenced truth.

They rely on the fact that most wont make it there and they will give up. The Doctors who end up court probably consider themselves unlucky amongst the 1000s that don’t due to families collapsing.

So true. Who knew that getting beaten around the head with a Bolam could leave so many people traumatised for so long? I'm sure there were always a hardy minority of relatives who never gave up, but I suspect far more continue now because of greater access to information.
