When you have the
@gmcuk saying ‘it is acceptable that she asked for it to be deleted as it should have never existed as she may have been talking about someone else’ you realise actually what type of obnoxious deceitful people we are dealing -

And if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle. What a load of crap. But they WEREN'T talking about anyone else, were they
@gmcuk? They were talking about how they'd failed#BenCondon and then misled his parents about those failings. Your unreasonable squirming is becoming obvious. -
The
@gmcuk know that. There lack of action is what will be responsible for a new wave of banners exposing Consultants.Their lack of action is one thing, their total disregard of evidence to protect corrupt doctors is despicable.Let’s see how the Drs they protect like more exposure -

Sadly, that is a story with a familiar ring. Sorry Allyn. We'll dig them out of that bunker one day. One way or another.
-
I actually think the
@gmcuk put Drs more at risk. In Ben’s case, had they taken some action it would have all ended. They just push you further to take your own action. Any consequences will be on their own hands. -

If doctors want to understand why more and more of us are choosing to head for the courts, then stories like yours should explain why very well. Because it's the only way we can get anyone to acknowledge the truth. Even when it's a blindingly obvious, evidenced truth.
-
They rely on the fact that most wont make it there and they will give up. The Doctors who end up court probably consider themselves unlucky amongst the 1000s that don’t due to families collapsing.

So true. Who knew that getting beaten around the head with a Bolam could leave so many people traumatised for so long? I'm sure there were always a hardy minority of relatives who never gave up, but I suspect far more continue now because of greater access to information.

Feel ache that grieving families have to fight like this John, I feel 'training' does play a role. I have a recording of COO & senior consultant altering all that I now understand to be accepted medical knowledge about how quickly a cancer grows Trust's surgery was real issue

I agree. I really do think key players are coached to cover up. Without boring you re my background, I can often recognise the difference between natural behaviour and rehearsed behaviour. I knew in an instant that what I was on the receiving end of had been carefully rehearsed.
-
I always think about those too old, ill, scared or who don't have english as 1st language? How would they fare? & any learnings from their distress/loss? Lying & covering-up because you u can about actions in your premises appears to be business-as-usual for alot of Trusts.

BAU is right, ime. It's rare to find that cover up and calling in the lawyers isn't the default option for any complaint of substance ime. And it's hard enough to deal with those who cover up if you're fit and well (at the start, at least). The vulnerable have no chance, imho

Yes I spotted this too the devious little bastards! Frightening how their minds work and they'll do anything to cover themselves. Should have just told the truth and saved this family years of heartache on top of losing their little boy.
