Those responsible for training and any certification in #BawaGarba notably not speaking up or addressing the manslaughter failings. Or not identifying themselves.
Does completing over 5 years of paediatrics in England really leave the doctor a novice? In all those failings?

If not still novice at 5 years, why is training minimum 7 years? And see new RCPCH training curriculum, formalises more structured approach to competencies. Dr BG was only just started in what now the final 3-year stage, and still had long way to go https://www.rcpch.ac.uk/education/training/rcpch-progress-curriculum …

suddenly"If a doctor reaches the standard of a responsible body of medical opinion, he is not negligent". makes a bit more sense. (Where the defendant has represented him-or herself as having more than average skills and abilities, that is as a professional "as all doctors do")

But what is often missing is the contextual bit. If, in reality, that ‘responsible body’ was applied accurately, the ‘peers’ should indeed be peers at her stage of experience and training.

However, I suspect (though don’t know for sure) that the experts used were all experienced well beyond her stage of training, and may not have had contemporary experience as clinical trainers

If prosecution experts were sprouting bull,
#bawagarba had opportunity to claim that - she only had to raise reasonable doubts. Haven't seen that her 5 years' worth of trainees were witnesses for her. Dr O'Riordan ? argued in the ? inquest that death was due to enalapril.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

You pair are turning into quite the Twitter duo. Becoming Morcambe & Wise-esque at times. :)

Like certain sit-coms, only works once you've put in enough time to become familiar (ish) with the characters.
