Truth is only the truth if it is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. In a culture of #bullying #racism #scapegoating sadly truth is the casualty and innocent suffer. #JackAdcock tragedy should have been prevented by system leaders. #BawaGarba

"Truth is only the truth if it is the whole truth and nothing but the truth" > And that's the truth!! If only those who've been telling this story had been as mindful of that point. Individual gross negligence is the only thing I've found evidence of so far.
-
The problem is that 'truth' is subjective as is memory
-
Appreciated. Opinion is one thing - and best avoided where possible in this situation for the likes of me I think, (though it's hard not to hold a view). But some things are just facts too. It's so tempting to share details, but still reading.
-
(Still talking generally), facts are facts but only present an accurate picture if comprehensive and in context. 'The truth' is still a subjective assessment.
-
Again, appreciated. Some of that context will likely also come from comparing court records with how events have been portrayed up until this point by a select few, I suspect. The only 'subjective assessment' anyone has had chance to hear to date will rightly face scrutiny, imho.
-
All assessments have a degree of subjectivity. Ask 10 people and one usuallly gets 10 different results
-
That's fair. It's just that we've only heard from a limited few with access to the critical information so far. Other perspectives are about to join the mix. Long overdue, but better late than never.

Ooh, good question. I did see that mentioned somewhere, but I've covered so much ground since I'm struggling to remember the answer or where I saw it. Leave it with me - I'll keep an eye out for it.
-
Was it the coroner as they called in the police?
-
Not that I recall. Coroner referral was back to the CPS upon discovery of potential criminal acts/omissions, but don't think GMC was a part of that process.

Trusts rarely report staff to regulators unless they are whistle blowers
-
Appreciated, but there are so may things that are unusual about this case, it's hard to rule anything out. For example, the trust called the police in almost immediately. They arrived to seize medical records the next day. How often does that happen??

And medicine is supposed to be evidence based practice. David Nichol and the like should be ashamed.
-
Indeed. Although being just a 'bloke on twitter vs
@BBCPanorama' what would I know? Someone should probably call the police. :) -
Oh they didn't did they? What a bunch of silly prats.
-
No, it's ok John - hasn't happened. It was tongue in cheek. Although there was a hint of a threat to do so. Not sure what they'd report if they did?https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/1056907645158912006?s=21 …
