That‘s direct evidence of pre-exeisting bias. You‘ve made up your mind & are now trawling court transcripts for ‘evidence’ to support your argument...that‘s called positive bias, and is dangerous. I don’t give a rodent’s derrière what you come up with now.

@C7RKY , you’re neither external nor impartial. Clearly state your COI or your opinions about the court transcripts are little more than popularism and fake news.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Better put me in that pot too Cathy, I’m reading them and they are, as expected, illuminating.

goes for anyone who‘ll commentate on them, until people can read them for themselves. But, where there‘s any heated debate there are sides, hidden prejudices & biases. In any discussion, when only 1 side has information being discussed ‘evidence’ is always open to manipulation.

by that logic you'd accept that the medical profession commenting also have their biases and conflicts of interest in relation to this matter? All this is though an excellent reminder of the importance of fair and accurate contemporaneous reporting of criminal proceedings.

Yes, I totally agree. He’ll, I’m faced with medical biases as a patient and a colleague daily, and the effect of my own biases that didn’t even realise I harboured until highlighted somehow.

But
@KirstenSjovoll , how can ensure reporting is equivocal/balance in such cases, especially when only few knew of case initially, and only highlighted when reality of a situation once thought extreme becomes more visible to more people in time as real changes never happened.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likes -

Deb Cohen apparently had the whole shebang when she did the Panorama programme. I watched it hoping for balance/info and even without any insight thought it so heavily biased it was uncomfortable.

When I find the chance, I'm going to go back and do an analysis of that Panorama episode. I don't expect it to stand up well.
