Yes I know, I have followed since the inquest - the DNR issue caught my attention. Jack died just after my mum, my dad ‘sued’ the NHS over mum’s DNR, in the process of dad’s case I found people with LD’s often have DNR issues. Not much from doctors until Dr BG struck off. Why?

Well if they think that 21 mistakes is acceptable then I think they all need to look at a new profession. It’s an absolute disgrace. What makes us so mad is the fact none of them sat in court for 4.5 wks & listened to any evidence but there quick enough to have an opinion.

None of them CAN see evidence you saw presented. Nor can we (or you) see the evidence that was NOT presented. Where is the discussion about why those mistakes happened? Where is discussion re: whether Dr BG was suitably qualified for that role on that day? Or who decided that?

Is the place for that discussion nearly 8 years down the line?

Is it OK to avoid important discussions just because 8 years have gone by?

No. But it's worthy of note that despite not having been able to see all the evidence and despite such discussions not having been instigated, (let alone exhausted), it didn't prevent a crowd funding appeal being launched to try and protect the career of a convicted criminal.

The crowd funding was initiated for the GMC challenge, not the trial and GNM conviction. And the Court of Appeal overturned...clearly there were grounds for the challenge and the premises of the crowdfunding. Yet continued dubiety about why GNM conviction so contentious...?

I may be wrong, but I think several people expected that fund to be used to appeal her conviction. I'm not familiar, but the court of appeal judgement struck me as being a technical decision, based upon whether it's right for the High Court to replace a tribunal decision.
