Have former patients give talks to hospital staff, as to how to improve care. Or, people, whose loved ones died, due to poor care.

I think it's a great idea. Not always easy to get trusts to embrace the discomfort though, which is why I was so impressed to learn that

I think that if nurses & doctors knew how their decisions impacted upon patients & their families, they might change their behaviours & attitudes.
