Can't believe I've made it this far in life without ever hearing that phrase. Thanks for that Paul. How to answer in this context though? I'm going through several boxes of candles, but I don't stand to collect any winnings personally. Guess I'm just wasteful with candles?

Just thought it appropriate as you left the Twitter field at the end of the day. I would have thought a priori that you are waging a campaign with this as only one facet. I suppose only you can judge whether this modality is cost/effective.

Thought provoking. It's been something I felt compelled, if not morally obliged to undertake in the first instance, but I've really only followed my nose and instinct since. The only thing I'm certain about is that it's not cost effective. On the contrary, it's financial suicide.

Understandable. It’s hard to assess the impact of social media discourse. The word ‘Compulsion’ is interesting. My limited experience is that changing attitudes via this medium is very hard.

Fair points. Changing attitude in a key individual may be possible, but a group is a far harder task. I think a blog may be my next step tbh. More practical. The 'compulsion' came from strength of feeling about what I found. Some things are worth the sacrifice to challenge, imho.
