John, when clinicians write about 'using social media' they tend to focus on the ethics of doing that, and they need to get past their own ethics committees. We - laymen - don't. Do you think that clinicians are 'behind the curve' in terms of using social media?

I struggle to think of clinicians being behind the curve on social media tbh, Mike. In most subjects they're far more organised, coordinated & vocal than patients could ever hope to be. We are a more disparate group who tend to focus on our individual concerns, not bigger picture
