Excuse me, @annaefoster. I'm very keen to listen to this item of yours, but it's no longer available on iPlayer. Is there any other way of being able to access it please?
Thank you...https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09v5v5x …

Thanks for responding Anna. It was an interview related to the Bawa Garba case. I found the link from this blog: http://peterenglish.blogspot.com/2018/03/an-honest-mistake-should-never-be.html … Sounds like you're a rare journo to argue the public confidence point. An argument that's still unresolved, imho. I'd really like to hear that.

Yes, I remember it. Without the audio it's hard to give you the full picture, but we looked at it from both sides (doctors and public). I've found this link which quotes part of it but not the whole thing I'm afraidhttp://www.pulsetoday.co.uk/news/gp-topics/gmc/in-full-gmc-chairs-apology-to-doctors-over-bawa-garba/20036336.article …

Looking at the blog link you posted, it *seems* like the author heard the first interviews with Pulse and the GP, but not the later one with the GMC where various of those points were made.

Interesting, thank you. I was involved in an exchange of open letters on this subject, which also examined both sides. I don't know if you have the time/inclination, but I'd love to know your thoughts. The debate is far from over among patients on this.https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/1029303542685814789?s=21 …
