Sorry, but that's part of the myth that's built up since the #BawaGarba propaganda machine kicked in (belatedly). GNM doesn't require intent - that would make it murder. Manslaughter charges exist to recognise just such a lack of intent where gross negligence proves to be deadly.

Sorry, I think it does. To understand your motives I need to understand your background, and your aims. I don’t want to jump to assumptions so I’d really appreciate if you are someone who has a problem with doctors in past, perhaps with autism/vaccine links? Im not hiding my DOI.

If you read
@ShaunLintern's piece, I think it more than adequately explains my motivation. Feel free to debate me on any of the points that I've raised - I'm open to changing my mind if convinced. But I'm not open to having you play the man not the ball. I'm hiding nothing. -
Sorry, John, no. I strongly suspect you have more than an axe to grind against the medical profession for a perceived wrong, (which may be justified) and your views are not wholly objective as a result. I’d be grateful if you would answer my question on your autism/vaccine view.
-
And I'd be grateful if you'd stop trying to divert the conversation away from the point at hand. My views are all openly available on other twitter threads - inc on that subject - and no less subjective than your own. Now... have you a point to raise about anything I've said?
-
I’m not trying to divert anything John. Rather than trawl through 1,000s of past tweets to appreciate your viewpoint, I’m simply asking if you believe vaccines cause autism, and feel someone you love was harmed as a result. It’s relevant. I’m a biochemical scientist and doctor.

My take: You don't like what I've had to say because it doesn't sit well with your view of events, but you're unable to fault what I've said, so now you are desperately grasping for some other basis on which to undermine the messenger, rather than deal with the message. Telling.
-
My take: you appear, erroneously, to associate vaccines with causing harm, have suffered (sadly) a personal or family illness as a result, perhaps autism in a child, and this drives your views. A quick google search reveals the ‘how can you inject mercury into a human’ comment.
-
I rest my case. You have nothing to say in response to my actual points above, you have no idea about me and are now clutching at straws. It's pitifully transparent. Says far more about you than me, frankly. Goodnight, Alan.
