Brilliant! Utterly utterly brilliant! How old is he John?
-
He's still only 8. I still refer to him as little one, but he's really not that little any more. -
wow! You have so many years of joy ahead of you

-
Oh yes!
But also... so many languages ahead too!
(Chinese is just his latest fad)
I preferred the previous ones - at least I could still understand the keyboard and the menus then!
-
I would recommend manga cartoons and learning Japanese for the speech bubbles. You may have a chance then
-
Thinking/dancing. Thank you! I'm kinda hoping he moves on to another language again soon tbh. We went through a large number of Eastern European ones previously, so fingers crossed he wanders back into the Latin alphabet again. I could live without having to learn symbols!

-
he's taking you on his journey with him! Does he read?
-
Oh yes. Books, labels, signs... you name it, he'll read it now. When we were trying to get him talking again after a year of silence, I used to phonetically read out the 3 letters of every passing car number plate to him as if it were a word, until he started doing it too. :)
