What a great video. "The point about this is; we cannot trust the GMC to investigate these doctors properly." More & more scientific fraud being exposed re clinical trials. Ironic, when I reflect on how many doctors I've seen calling people 'anti science' if they express doubt.

Yes she is trying to get some very well known psychiatrists held to account. Don't rate her chances though
-
Oh, psychiatrists? If we could have any faith in the regulators, then that one ought to be easy. Just mentioning the word 'replication' ought to be enough to sink that particular ship given the news of recent years. But it's a big if!
-
It’s not just replication. It’s nonreporting as well.https://twitter.com/bengoldacre/status/1040246189092941825?s=20 …

Absolutely agree. And many thanks to both
@bengoldacre &@fgodlee for their ongoing efforts to highlight that damning fact across the board. Bad science indeed.https://twitter.com/c7rky/status/1036965999407509504?s=21 …

Never been great at tact...

And we love you for it! I'll take a shortfall in tact over a shortfall in candour any day.

John - I assume you've read the Gosport report? I've reached the section on the local MP - the report isn't written in a way that I find 'easy to read' (I don't mean I can't follow it - it just makes my eyes glaze over after every few pages).
-
I'm asking, because it seems to me, that in loose terms there was an undue emphasis on Jane Barton, and far too little investigation of the consultants and of the system she was working within?
