This is shocking - CQC should put PATIENTS FIRST - not some cosy ‘ consultancy’ relationship with Trusts. Makes a complete farce of supposed independent rigorous inspections. Of course some CQC staff might fancy jobs in Trusts & vice versa....https://twitter.com/Public_Eye_XVA/status/1039800682348511232 …
I found this line to be blurred too. Inspectors rushed out to 'inspect' without meeting me first (so didn't even know what to look for) then used this recent visit as reason not to do another once they did know. Tipped trust off as to where they were looking in the process, .

They were sent to inspect Trust after my complaint. I'd put my contact details on review of complaint. Heard nothing
-
Jeremy Hunt's office had asked them to go in. They didn't give my name to CQC. They either did a bad job or nothing
-
I can relate. I bluntly accused the inspection team in my case of interfering in a crime scene. And after all that, Kay Sheldon dismissed my concerns as just an individual complaint. Something David Behan later disagreed with formally - just after she blocked me, funnily enough.

Has she retired?

I don't know. I'm blocked on here & I decided I'd suffered enough punishment watching every monthly CQC board meeting some time ago. At least it shows I'm not a stalker I suppose? Lol!
-
I got blocked after I argued that bin bags and ligature points etc should be removed from mh units. She argued against
-
She hasn't always played well with people who don't agree with her. Which I've always thought said more about her than them, from the ones I witnessed previously.
