Family feeling unwell has kept me away from twitter for a couple of days and that's already enough to be swamped with too many mentions to deal with. I'm clearly going to have to find a better way to manage Twitter. Seems clear I'll keep missing important stuff if I don't.

Every family I have spoken to all say the same. Had they received an apology they would have ended it there

That's the madness of the whole situation. None us start out as hardened complainants. We start out as bereaved relatives & harmed patients who just want the truth and some genuine compassion/care. If we got that, most would see no cause to complain, & compensation only for needs

The worst thing is, people actually believe we are the issue. A lady today called me disgusting at Bristol Children’s Hospital for giving out leaflets.

Clinicians and management at the trust cover up the circumstances surrounding your baby's death, but you're the disgusting one for handing out leaflets highlighting that fact? We live in a seriously screwed up world.
-
Absolutely. She even looked at me like I was stupid when I said ‘ah bless you’.

I am sorry you have to deal with this sort of thing, it must be very difficult for you. At least I can hide behind a computer here .. and block people if necessary!!!!

To be honest it’s water of a ducks back but it would be much easier if I didn’t have to put up with it
-
Ha! I was just typing something similar about your broad shoulders, but you beat me to it!
