I ask for 35 mins of your time to Listen to my talk on #Misdiagnosis if you doubt my friend @DrUmeshPrabhu who speaks the truth (even if he is harsher on #BawaGarba than I would be)

£s to carry on with what, I wonder? I firmly believe we should all get to see that transcript to know what the public is expected to have confidence in. Until such time, nobody can be sure of themselves, imho. Which is why all the support has appeared to be blind from the outside

Supreme Court? The transcript is of course an record of an investigation of records made of what actually happened. Sadly there is no video of the real events, which even then would be video from one angle. But the person missing on admission was the supervising Consultant
-
Well, he may have been MIA on the day Jack died, (in more ways than one), but he wasn't missing at the trial. He was giving evidence. Evidence I'd like to be able to read. All of it. We don't know what the prosecution presented against her, or the defence presented in mitigation.
-
Maybe if we did, it would become obvious as to why the jury convicted her? Maybe even obvious as to why the judge refused her leave to appeal? I'm confused by how one can appeal conviction having been refused leave to do so tho. That's beyond my grasp of our legal system so far.

A court transcript won't be comprehensive on an issue because all the participants will argue what they think is relevant to the court eg to manslaughter allegations. The Judge should prevent irrelevant stuff being aired. But that may actually be important for other purposes.

We have the Serious Untoward Incident report which was not even allowed in Court! We have Dr Cusack’s interview made public (did he appear in court?) ... https://www.dropbox.com/s/07zrsx5nypav9fn/FOI.SUI%20REPORT%20FOI%20Redacted.pdf?dl=0 … Mtps Report https://www.dropbox.com/s/hiw24u36t1or5pa/Dr_Hadiza_BAWA-GARBA_13_June_2017.pdf?dl=0 …

The censored SUI was made public only this year: who tried to get it admitted to the manslaughter trial? How do you know?
-
-
So Dr
#BawaGarba made no effort to get it into evidence? Given its content (even censored) she was wise. Court wants the best evidence available: anyone who said something useful in the SUI would front court and be up for cross-examination. -
She was ill advised & represented by her Defence Union legal advisers. The
@TeamHadiza crowd funding allowed her to get top notch legal team. The same happened with#DavidSellu I fear sometimes#MPS has not used best team. I believe#IsabelAmaro was even more poorly represented -
I'd like to better understand her defence too - I'd want the kitchen sink throwing at the court in mitigation if it were me being charged. But I agree with Robert re the SUI report. Even redacted, it doesn't read well for BG. Leaving it out may have been perceived to be sensible.
