The problem with legal reform is that legislation we already have is not being enforced (eg Gosport) because public opinion simply wouldn't stand for it. Look at the fuss over Bawa Gaba, and the moves to make it more difficult to prosecute Drs.

TBH I haven’t given up hope on the h/s but I have on our Ombudsman’s Office. They & their protocols defy all logic. So many failures evidenced in my case alone has led me to believe they shouldn’t be allowed to get their mitts on health-related issues.

They defy logic when observed through the lens of acting in the public interest. But when you switch it out for the lens of 'scandal containment', suddenly things make more sense. It's not broken; it's doing exactly what it was built for - albeit NOT what it says on the tin.

Am I alone in feeling a fool for falling for it, time after time? Or is it that the illusion of justice has been perfected by their PR machine?
