I believe that after the flurry of activity around #BawaGarba Appeal what may now make my work’s #PatientDanger #SaferEveryDay is to spend less time on Twitter and more time focused on the work in front of my eyes @TeamHadiza @C7RKY @nialldowney @DrUmeshPrabhu

I think John that the one thing we all can agree on is that the current Error Mgt system and its medico-legal counterpart isn’t working. We’re holding a conference this October in Belfast bringing these two worlds together to try to explore a better approach-maybe see you there?pic.twitter.com/fg3MwIadx9

It sounds like just the sort of thing I'd love to attend actually Niall. I'd even get to visit family whilst attending that one. But alas, my responsibilities at home no longer allow me to travel very far. I'll be there in spirit though - good luck with it!

Love your honesty John
-
Thank you - it's all I know. Did you read the letter I wrote to Gordon, Umesh? The one you retweeted? You'll find a whole bunch of it in there. :)

Neithe I nor you on our own have the power to change but together we can change anything and everything. My focus is only on making our
#NHS safest and the best and honest organisation and prevent these tragedies in the first place. -
Me too. I just wish progress weren't so hard to find.

I am out of this conversation. When Umesh enters you only get half the conversation. He has more blocks than my kids Lego box. A man who has no concept of debate. Only his way. Criticise ‘his NHS’ and you are out

You got to talk to those leaders. I never cover up anything. I also defend wrong punishment to anyone. Right punishment I have no problem I have dismissed few myself but all bad doctors.
-
I think it's worth reflecting on what that actually means though. In effect, you're asking victims of crime in some cases to talk to those who committed the crime against them - people who don't want to talk. Many describe the complaints process as re-traumatising for good reason
-
I will happily talk to those who left Ben to die.I can make it all end.Sit me in a room with them all round a table and give me an hour. I will tie them in knots over their lies and corruption & then they can give us a proper apology and move on.I think
@DrMurphy11 suggested this -
I made the same offer, Allyn. Consultant refused to meet me. Funny, that! Wonder why?
-
I still have an open offer to all those Doctors who covered up Bens death at Bristol Children’s Hospital to sit in a room all together so we can clear up all their lies and then we can all move on. If I am am offering, who is hiding?
