Like Nicola Adock said this week, where were all these medics when BawaGarba was on trial for 5 weeks? Such a self-serving response it makes my teeth ache.

Can't comment on why others have suddenly got involved. And in the scheme of things, it's minor. A child died. And I can't see that there is anything to stop those circumstances happening again
-
You made similar comment before. Has nothing at all been changed in response to this case which will help prevent a repeat then? It's hard to conceive that the inaction could persist beyond the court case.

This is the advice on raising concerns: doesn't actually result in any outcomeshttps://www.gmc-uk.org/ethical-guidance/learning-materials/raising-and-acting-on-concerns-flowchart/routine-reporting-arrangements?previousPc=0 …

Doesn't help with what to DO if arrive at work in an understaffed unit repeatedly.
-
It makes raising concerns an ass covering exercise in case things go wrong, when all you want is for it to be addressed. Unacceptable.
-
And that tool is painful to go through. It's like a constant escalation process that almost seems to anticipate you won't be satisfied with the response to your concerns. Perhaps a member of the public should report the trust to the police? Does their inaction not endanger life?
