Where did you get the transcripts? They should be shared in the public interest.

It's hard to know about cases unless the situation makes it through to people who 1) have access to, and 2) are prepared to share in the (medical) press. Wouldn't have occurred to me to do that
-
That wasn't at the time - that was when the court case happened. Years later
-
Yes. And there was still no medic outrage at this point.
-
Locally, there was. Within the Trust and the Deanery, there was.

So why didn't the cavalry come galloping over the hill at that time, do you think? They've arrived in force to make an extra time appeal on the erasure, but not a single out-of-town soldier appeared to be in sight for the conviction. It all seems very odd tbh.

Can't comment on why others have suddenly got involved. And in the scheme of things, it's minor. A child died. And I can't see that there is anything to stop those circumstances happening again
-
You made similar comment before. Has nothing at all been changed in response to this case which will help prevent a repeat then? It's hard to conceive that the inaction could persist beyond the court case.

Leicester Mercury have covered it and there has been medics doing blogs etc. BMJ have a couple. They are sadly not journalistically objective. And heartbreakingly some didn’t mention Jack much. Nothing from patients. I’d be too scared.
-
I think that fear is widespread (personal view)
