Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

Except she has accepted responsibility. In fact the only who has. Did you see her consultant take responsibility? The managers in the hospital who let staffing be so critical that 1 doctor had to do the work of 3? No? It’s because they haven’t .

She defended the charge and appealed the verdict - twice. And failed on all counts. Now we have a doctor-funded appeal of the erasure too. You and I clearly have very different ideas about what constitutes accepting responsibility.

You clearly feel the law is less ambiguous in this area than Prof Sir Norman Williams does https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/717946/Williams_Report.pdf …

I feel that when you ask a clinician to write a report about whether or not other clinicians should be prosecuted for Gross Negligent Manslaughter, then the Williams Review is the predictable outcome. https://www.england.nhs.uk/author/professor-norman-williams/ …

Perhaps asking those close to a particular case leads to equally predictable views

I don't know this family, if that's the suggestion? But I acknowledge I've spent 7 yrs watching clinicians evade accountability with the aid of complicit employers/lawyers/regulators. The courts emerge as our last hope, So you'll find knowledgeable pts to be passionate about this

I wasn't referring to your potential bias as I have no way of knowing. What potential biases are you aware of in yourself? "None" would be highly unlikely.

I have several biases, as I have no doubt do you. For example; I'm generally biased towards liking people from Atherstone - as I grew up not far away and have fond memories of the people/place. But it doesn't stop me telling them when I think they're wrong. :)

Not far down the A5 - Polesworth was the scene for my formative years. But plenty of time spent with friends in Atherstone. Worked there briefly too early days. Simple, honest folk - which is something I've only come to appreciate more and more as time has gone by.

Really enjoying the company of Atherstonians as patients, colleagues and neighbours ... and hearing that they "ger" to the "buzz station"! ;)

Haha! I can almost hear the accent from here. But I have to say, even if you read out the entire BG case to me in an Atherstone accent, it still wouldn't change my mind about current events being wrong. Tough to explain my perspective fully within Twitter limits though.

Touché! Neat deflection of a declaration of your potential biases, though. ;) Perhaps not a conversation for Twitter

I think Twitter's already way ahead of us on that one, but I take your point. And as far as my potential biases are concerned, you only have to ask; because I'll generally tell you. (I'm not known as shy 😉). But I'm all ears if someone can give me good reason to reconsider any.
