Of course views all mine. All without prejudice. Just a regular chap after all. Oh...and RT's may equally imply ridicule as endorsement.

"Our major concern about this proposed legislation is about the process by which HSSIB will be able to accredit NHS trusts to carry out their own “safe space” investigations. There is an obvious, enormous conflict of interest" says @TheDA_UK http://data.parliament.uk/writtenevidence/committeeevidence.svc/evidencedocument/draft-health-service-safety-investigations-bill-committee/draft-health-service-safety-investigations-bill/written/84631.html … #safespace

Has anyone ever questioned the value of the "learning" the safespaces are meant to enable? Much of the time it'll be the obvious like taking notes, don't ignore patients or parents, follow guidelines and processes, ask for help if unsure, a lactate of 7.5 bad (medschool 101)🙄

Good point. I don't think there are many lessons needed but change is the real issue

That's the depressing part, isn't it? Took me years to get CQC/NHSE/GMC to admit the consenting process is open to abuse. That was 4 years ago now, but despite their admission, nothing has been changed. How can that even be possible in a regulated healthcare system? #corrupt

Because they pay lip-service to regulation. They must think we are all completely stupid.

As I've said to friends with whom I used to work in a different regulated environment; medicine wouldn't know what regulation was if regulation walked up to them in the street and slapped them across the face with a massive sign saying 'I am regulation'.

I realised that when the GMC contacted Trust about drs + Trust said no problem

PHSO did the same to me. I made it a bit harder for GMC, but they got a friendly expert to say what they wanted instead. An expert who was later proved wrong by CQC/NHSE's admission. It's a game. One we've exposed. And they hate that.
