I see accusations of the “chronically dissatisfied” from those involved in patient safety too. Not all families will “play the game” or tone down what they have to say, so they are dismissed too. By people who should know better #HSJPatientSafety

Good point. Nothing personal but leadership is listening and responding on what you might not want to hear and learning from it. A quality wholly lacking in the entrenched mind set of far too many CEOs and senior management of NHS trusts.

Yes. I'm still at a point where I'm the walking wounded, a victim of appalling treatment by an NHS trust, before and after my brother was very efficiently left to get ill and die under their hands. That is the whole truth. It's not the only trust. The system needs a clear out.

This is where power corrupts. I wasn't aware of entrenched demonisation of whistleblowers but witnessed it at Ashmount. Staff behaving like obedient robots, ordered not to talk to me, no whistles blown until an A2 inquest from just one brave soul. Tyrants in our health service.
