'Eventually'. Yeah... my first thought was how long did it take them to get round to reporting it. Be interested to see who knew what/when. But many trusts continue to deny crimes even when presented with compelling evidence, so kudos to this one for contacting police at all.

Yes the standard is low but credit where it is due. Wonder if families did and were ignored like many before.

Wouldn't be the first - as we know. Let's see what emerges. They've kept it quiet for a while. I've not noticed the police investigation reported before now.

In the week of the 70th birthday another brutal horrifying scandal exposed. One after the other, on and on and on. It's horrific that a great, honourable public service with noble aims has an infestation of rot and has never got rid of it.
