Can you believe the front of this woman?? Every one of these wrongful killings happened whilst she was working there. None before. None after. Get her in court now!!https://twitter.com/SkyNewsBreak/status/1011899069051080704 …

Unfortunately for the balance to shift it appears more families have to become victims. If we would stop elevating the NHS to "envy of the world" status (most countries have their own, often better, healthcare systems now) we could be more honest as a society.
-
That's the problem - nobody wants to think ill of the NHS and nobody believes the level of collusion is possible until it happens to them, or somebody they care about. It's a horrible way to wake up mind you!
-
Nobody wants to believe drs can harm, unlike other countries where if the dr is useless they will go out of business
-
I guess there is a positive spin to be had from 'market forces'? Word of dodgy doctors would probably travel faster between patients if that kind of commercial choice existed. For all it's downfalls.
-
Yeah. I have always been of the opinion that a mixed public private system like we have in New Zealand will work better. Safety net for everyone but patient choice. There's less of a "take it or leave it" attitude. You go to the next clinic who treat you better.
-
I always thought economy of scale & easier to manage under 1 roof arguments would win the day tbh. But the longer this unreasonable cover-up culture endures, the more I question it. Power base needs debasing somehow.
-
Yeah but so my power under one roof inevidibly ends up in corruption. At least we can try to vote out bad governments. We can't vote out bad NHS managers. They exist in their own world, protected from changing governments by the "envy of the word" shield.

So true.
