To add to this #MemeYourAGU collection, the following is inspired by @ChelleGentemann's ongoing, thought-provoking
#OpenScience #AGU21 session (U51B: https://agu.confex.com/agu/fm21/meetingapp.cgi/Session/122142 …).

What do you think the biggest reason for not sharing is? Always been a head scratcher when GEE cited in a publication but reproducible code & therefore science isn't also...would think it'd be more the rule than the exception.
1/2: I think folks are afraid to share their code b/c (1) they're afraid someone might criticize their code, and (2) others might build off their code w/o crediting them. @Steven_Ramage's tweet, albeit unrelated, seems to speak to the 2nd point.https://twitter.com/Steven_Ramage/status/1471514144029433860?t=9iSIc8Hw7OrCiCWZ3Mi88g&s=19 …
Whatever the reason is, it's annoying and scientific progress blocking
