    A simple look at Google maps shows a network of mange like patches across BC, scars from unsustainable, clearcut logging. And *how* you replant trees is everybit as important as how they are harvested. Forests are not farms: REWILD don’t just replant.

    Inthink it ignores First Nations, first and foremost. Then… Westminster Parliament, or American pseudo-Republic? Ultimately, it solves nothing and keeps many if the same issues we are facing because moderates and right wingers aren’t that far apart.

    At Congee Noodle House. This better not be RIP. Excavation for a new condo development next door (Green Oak devt) collapsed its land last night. Irony is that we often eat and meet here to strategize on housing issues. A condo devt shuts down yet another loved spot - well played!

    I know. You can hear an engineer's pure distilled anger in that remark. He's not alone either. We're being contacted by so many engineers, construction experts, hydro dam managers & others with expertise in this area who are all effectively saying is a dangerous experiment

    Harper’s mandatory minimum sentences have also played a role in the over-incarceration of Indigenous people - and the Trudeau govt has not reversed a single one of them in almost 5 years in office.

    Canada’s Correctional Investigator has found that the proportion of Indigenous people in prisons is now at a historic high of 30% although persons constitute only 5% of the population. This can only be explained by rampant and systemic racism:

    This unstable mess is close to the dam work site. The Peace River region's geology is famously unstable. That a dam is being built here is evidence this site & this dam was pushed through by politicians, not a utility or hydroengineers.
